Mikey & Amelia is named after my brother and me — our middle names, shared in childhood and carried quietly into everything I create. The studio began long before it ever had a name, shaped by sun-soaked afternoons, sketchbooks, and a childhood spent in Southern California.

Growing up in SoCal gave me an early love for color, light, texture, and atmosphere — the soft blues coastal mornings, the Spanish architectural influence, the warm sunshine from San Diego to Santa Barbara, the effortless blend of laid-back beauty and intentional style. It shaped the way I see the world: warm, editorial, cinematic, and full of small details worth paying attention to.

That early love for aesthetics turned into making art for the people and places I loved — simple pieces at first, then more thoughtful work that started to feel like the beginning of something real.

Mikey & Amelia Creative grew from that foundation: a namesake brand rooted in family, nostalgia, and the belief that design feels most powerful when it feels personal.

Today, the studio blends:

About the Creative

Hey, I’m Peyton! The designer behind Mikey & Amelia Creative — someone who’s always been drawn to thoughtful details, intentional storytelling, and the kind of design that leaves a quiet, lasting impression. I followed that pull into studying Marketing, Studio Art and Fashion design at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame (Go Belles & Go Irish!), where I built the foundation for the strategic, emotionally driven creative work I do today. Currently, I’m working on getting an MBA at Baylor University to expand my business background.
My approach blends structure with intuition. I’m as passionate about color, composition, and atmosphere as I am about clarity and purpose. I care deeply about understanding the story behind each brand and translating it into visuals that feel personal, elevated, and truly reflective of the people building them.
As a designer, I’m detail-oriented, collaborative, and endlessly curious — always looking for the intersection between beauty and meaning. I believe design should feel intentional, considered, and honest.

Tying the Bow

At my core, I’m someone who loves creating work that resonates — design that feels like a reflection, a memory, or a moment you want to step into. I think of it as tying a bow on a story: thoughtful, intentional, and completed with care.

Every brand has a moment where everything comes together — the story, the visuals, the feeling. I call this tying the bow.
It’s the final phase of my process where the strategy sharpens, the design aligns, and the whole identity feels complete. It’s not rushed, and it’s never an afterthought. It’s the moment the brand becomes something you not only recognize, but trust.
Tying the bow is where intention meets craft — where the details are refined, the voice is clarified, and everything is shaped into something memorable and beautifully whole. It’s the finishing touch that elevates a brand from polished to unforgettable.
